Lynchburg, Virginia is home to a vibrant visual, performing and maker arts community – centered in Downtown Lynchburg and the James River Arts & Cultural District. The conference home is the Academy Center of the Arts, Greater Lynchburg’s center for arts, culture, and community building. In December 2018, the Academy reopened the 1905 Academy of Music Theatre, a brilliantly restored 800+ seat venue for cultural entertainment and education
Parking & Transportation
Getting to Lynchburg is easy. Centrally located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, conference attendees may choose to arrive by car, train or plane. Daily flights available from Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) and daily trains from points west and north through the Amtrak Northeast Regional (LYH).
Transportation to and from the Friday evening event at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts will be provided. Attendees are asked to meet at the Holiday Inn Downtown (601 Main Street) for a 4:30 PM departure.
